Durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, Pl\u00e1 ha ocupado la presidencia y los dos a\u00f1os anteriores fue presidente entrante y vicepresidente del Comit\u00e9 para los Asuntos Europeos. Previamente ostent\u00f3 el cargo de secretario general durante cuatro a\u00f1os<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo de Pl\u00e1 al ser nombrado presidente de BIPAR era mantener el nivel de influencia y capacidad de interlocuci\u00f3n de la Federaci\u00f3n ante el nuevo Parlamento Europeo.
